It is located in a red light district. Its a budget hotel used mainly for sex. Rented out mainly by hours. Most of the hotel 81 around singapore are catered for those patron wanting to rent a room for short time sex. Not recommended for tourist.
Hotel 81 Geylang is mostly accessible to bus stations which is very good. Also, there are nearest food stalls which you can try. Hotel offers a small room but it is very nice, cleanliness is implemented, and all the personnel are very approachable. The room is very small but clean enough. The bathroom is very small too but perfectly clean. Toiletries are complete. Complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea also provided.
Hair dryer is also available. Bed is fine, not the best quality but enough for a good sleep. Wifi is free and got good connection.
Staff are fine. Over-all, 'twas a nice stay, worth the money we paid. Good place for travellers who travels in day time and want a place to sleep and baggage. Small but clean and quite decent place. We staied 5 days and 4 nights. Room service was good for that type of hotel and room. This hotel brand was my choice in near few years. Every time travel to Singapore , i will stay here Hotel The hotel is nice , quite room , room quality also clean.
Hotel has location near Ajuned MRT , so you can go everywhere which you want. Affordable room rate. You will easy to find Chinese restaurant in near hotel. This time Oct , i will be back to attend ITB Asia , so i hope the hotel managerment will support me to provide the Nice room.
